This Privacy Policy explains how Azayim ("Azayim," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with Last Spire (the "Game") and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.
01 Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Account information
When you create an account, we may collect an email address, username or display name, password (stored in hashed form), and, if you sign in with Apple or another identity provider, an associated identifier from that provider.
Gameplay data
We collect data generated by your play, including your city and progress state, in-game resources, achievements, purchase history, alliance membership, and interactions with other players (such as trades or battle logs), in order to operate and improve the Game.
Device identifiers & anti-cheat data
To protect the integrity of the Game and prevent cheating, fraud, and abuse, we collect device identifiers, hardware and OS information, IP address, and behavioral signals associated with gameplay (such as timing and input patterns). This data is used specifically for anti-cheat and account-security purposes.
Chat & social content
Messages you send through in-game chat, alliance communications, and other social features are collected and retained so that we can deliver those features and moderate the community for compliance with our Terms of Service (for example, addressing harassment or hate speech reports).
Crash & diagnostic data
We use Sentry to collect crash reports and diagnostic/performance data (such as stack traces, device model, OS version, and app state at the time of an error) to identify and fix bugs. This data may incidentally include technical identifiers but is not used to build advertising profiles.
Purchase data
Where you make an in-app purchase, transaction information (such as product purchased, price, and date) is provided to us by Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details, which are handled entirely by Apple.
02 How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including saving your progress across sessions and devices;
- Enable social features such as chat and alliances;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent cheating, fraud, and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Moderate user-generated content, including responding to reports of harassment or hate speech;
- Diagnose crashes and technical issues and improve the stability and performance of the Game;
- Process purchases and manage entitlements to Virtual Goods;
- Communicate with you about the Service, including support requests and important updates;
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of Azayim, our players, and the public.
We do not sell your personal information.

These third parties process data on our behalf or as independent data processors/controllers subject to their own privacy terms, and only receive the data necessary to perform their function. We do not permit these providers to use your information for their own marketing purposes.
04 Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the Service. Chat and moderation logs are retained for a limited period sufficient to investigate reports and enforce our Terms. Crash and diagnostic data is retained by Sentry according to our configured retention window, after which it is automatically deleted. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your personal information ("right to be forgotten");
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your information;

- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

European users (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process your personal information on the legal bases of contract performance (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (such as anti-cheat and security), consent (where applicable), and legal obligation. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California users (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your information, and not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. As stated above, we do not sell personal information.
07 International Users & Data Transfers
The Service is operated from, and your information may be processed and stored in, countries other than your own, including the United States and countries where our service providers (such as Apple and Sentry) operate infrastructure. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect personal information transferred internationally. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these countries, which may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
